Some cars stay much longer than originally planned. This BMW 325Ci Convertible is a perfect example.

First registered in Witten, Germany, in May 2001, this E46 has remained with the same married couple ever since. The owners traditionally replaced their convertible every few years. However, when it came to this particular BMW, things turned out differently. More than 25 years later, it is still in their possession.

Used exclusively as a leisure and fair-weather vehicle, the car has covered just 91,000 kilometers from new.

Powered by BMW's renowned 2.5-liter inline-six engine, the 325Ci combines smooth performance with the refinement that made the E46 generation so highly regarded. Factory equipment includes automatic climate control, rear Park Distance Control and numerous comfort features.

The vehicle is accident-free and retains the vast majority of its original paintwork. Only the right rear quarter panel was professionally repainted more than 20 years ago after a minor scrape against the edge of a garage entrance while maneuvering. All other body panels remain in their original factory paint to the best of the owners' knowledge.

The interior presents in exceptional condition and shows the care the vehicle has received throughout its life. The convertible top is still the original factory-installed roof.

Particular attention was always paid to proper maintenance. Throughout its entire life, all servicing and maintenance work was carried out exclusively by BMW dealerships. The service history is therefore fully traceable and exceptionally well documented.

The owners originally intended to keep the car until it qualified for historic registration status. With this in mind, significant preventive work was carried out in 2024. Approximately €7,000 was invested in a comprehensive engine overhaul. During the same year, the underbody was professionally cleaned and treated, cavity wax protection was applied, and the paintwork received a professional ceramic-style preservation treatment.
