For sale is an extremely rare Citroën CX Prestige of the first series from 1976 - an original flat-roof model with a long wheelbase, built on the chassis of the CX Break. This vehicle is a rarity among classic Citroëns and impresses with its elegant lines, generous space and the unique driving experience of the legendary hydropneumatics.

The CX was first registered in France on April 9, 1976, more precisely in the Département du Var on the Côte d'Azur. The long-time owner lived in the municipality of Draguignan, where the vehicle was in use for many years. In the summer of 2007, the car was brought to Germany by Dirk Sassen and Raimund Henke, where the current owner finally took it over.

In 2016 and 2017, the Citroën was extensively restored - professionally and with great attention to detail in the renowned Citroen garage in Münster near Darmstadt. The restoration cost around 20,000 euros and covered all relevant areas. Since then, the car has been used exclusively as a second classic car, always accident-free and with comparatively low mileage.

The CX was always kept in the garage and regularly serviced by Ulrich Flory, a Citroën specialist workshop in Düsseldorf. A copy of the original French registration certificate (“Carte Grise”) is available and documents the origin of this classic
