This Fiat 125 S Special is an un-refurbished and completely original specimen. The car was purchased on February 22nd, 1971 in Vimercante (a region of Milano) at an official Fiat contract dealer by Mr Pasquale Scaccabarozzi, a local businessman. Mr Scaccabarozzi was born in 1923 and - like nearly everyone dating from that period - treated his possessions with great care. He drove the vehicle only occasionally and, before his death in 2009, reached a mileage of only about 6,000 kilometres.At 2,012 kilometres the first oil change was performed at Fiat. In 2009 Mr Scaccabarozzi’s son sold the vehicle to an old friend of his father’s, who was born in November of 1924 and lived in the same town. She registered the car, but didn’t drive a single metre with it. After her death in 2015 a car salesman heard tell of the pristine vehicle and left it standing in his salesroom until the beginning of 2017, when he sold it to Lorenzo Sanseverino, a local baker in Cassano D’Adda. Mr Sanseverino saw to new maintenance, new tyres, brakes and clutch as well as a new exhaust pipe, in order to return it to a state suitable for everyday use. From March of 2017 to March of 2019 this gentleman incredibly also drove only 500 kilometres with the Fiat, and now here we have a vehicle yearning to finally be used as an automobile and see the world.

Owing to its powerful 1600ccm Lampredi engine, the Fiat 125 Special runs extraordinarily well and brings the typical sound similar to the 124 Sport coupé. It is a true delight to drive this vehicle; it is a simple and very comfortable long-distance runner. The spare tyre is the original one delivered with the car upon first release, and the tools and the jack don’t seem to have ever been used. The original Fiat stamp on the rear screen, as well as the - typical for its time - tachometer instruction sticker remain with the car to this day.
