Only 15.000 km! First paint! New car condition!
Some automobiles tell their story not through extensive restorations, but through their extraordinary originality. The 1963 Fiat offered here is one such example, preserved in a remarkably original condition that is virtually impossible to find today.
Considered Fiat's flagship saloon at the time, the car was purchased new in 1963 by its first owner from an official Fiat dealership in Trieste, Italy. Following his unexpected passing shortly afterwards, the vehicle was returned to the dealership, where it remained as a cherished, not-for-sale showroom exhibit. The Fiat stayed there until 2001, carefully maintained and kept in running condition by the dealership's chief mechanic. Only when the dealer retired did a long-standing admirer, who had repeatedly expressed his interest in purchasing the car over several decades, finally have the opportunity to acquire it.
A few years ago, we had the pleasure of selling this exceptional Fiat to its current owner. Since then, the car has formed part of a private collection and has been driven only on very rare occasions. We are now delighted to offer this remarkable automobile for sale once again.
What makes this particular example truly special is its completely preserved original condition. The Fiat still wears its original factory paint from 1963 and has never been restored or mechanically modified. Remarkably, even the rear door panels still retain their original protective delivery film from the factory.
Such an extraordinary state of preservation is an absolute rarity after more than six decades. While a classic car can always be restored, its original factory finish and untouched character, once lost, can never truly be recreated.
A genuine time capsule of Italian automotive history, offering its next owner the rare opportunity to experience a car almost exactly as it appeared in the Fiat showroom in Trieste back in 1963.
