This fantastic Fiat Dino from the first series was delivered in June of 1968 to Mr Giuseppe F. (born on the 18th of March, 1925) in Prato (Italy) and even today remains in close to its original condition. Mr Giuseppe F was advocate for the "Mercedes Benz Branch Office Fineschi" in Prato and kept the Dino until his 91st year! The vehicle is unwelded, mostly retains its original varnish and has only been driven 70,000 km, remarkable for its age. In the years 2013 and 2015, some mechanics from Mercedes Benz refitted the Dino's engine for 15,000€ and repaired some defects typical in the aftermath of the long standing period. In Germany, the Dino received new maintenance: new tyres were fitted and all liquids as well as the brake hose were renewed.
The Dino's road handling is as perfect as its genuine Ferrari engine, which gives it its incredibly meaty sound. The grand interior never fails to astound; plus, in spite of the Dino's sporty ambitions, it was designed with comfortable travel in mind. The Fiat Dino 2000 is a genuine piece of Italian automobile history and was named for its name patron Alfredo Ferrari, whom his father Enzo always lovingly called "Alfredino", Dino for short.
The vehicle was not registered in Germany up to this point and comes with a fresh vehicle test certificate.
