Wonderful condition with traceable history!
The businessman Taccini U. who was born in 1931 in the Modena region, has been pursuing a great dream for many years. In 1967 this should finally come true, with the local Innocenti dealer he placed his personal order directly in the factory, it should be an Innocenti Mini Traveller. After a few months the dream came true. On 08.03.1967 the beautiful vehicle was delivered and registered to Mr. U..
Since the delivery the vehicle became his everyday companion and was maintained by him for 30 years and subjected to every maintenance. In 1996 after his death the ways parted and family U. began to sell the vehicle to an Italian oldtimer collector. Mr. Lorenzo S., who bought the car, lived in nearby Carpi and drove the car until 2009.
In order to be able to pursue other vintage projects, he sold this beautiful example to another collector who saw it as his passion to restore the vehicles to their original condition. After a long and careful restoration, the Innocenti appeared in a new splendor and was completely restored to its original condition, just as it left the Innocenti factory in Milano in 1967. At that time, the Innocenti brand belonged to the Italian Innocenti family. In 1971 Innocenti merged with the Austin Rover company.
To this day, the models of the Innocenti company go down in the history of the automotive industry. The earlier productions of the Innocenti company are still in great demand. This Innocenti Mini Traveller is a very well preserved specimen and is very rare to find nowadays, as it is possible to trace the whole history.
