Great restored condition!
"Wine red" is the name of the color of this XK150 from the U.S. The vehicle was an American until 2009 and was then purchased there by the current owner. He bought the vehicle in a restored condition and since then has only had all the relevant work done that has been required over the last few years. The car is part of a collection and is not driven enough, so the current owner would like to part with it.
The Jaguar XK150 is a British country castle on four wheels and embodies the elegantly sporty style of the late 1950s. From 1958, the sports coupe was finally also available as a DHC (Drop Head Coupe). Despite the similarities to its predecessors, the younger XK model differs from the even older XK 120 and XK140 models. The hood has actually become 4 cm longer and the windscreen is now in one piece. In the interior, the dashboard in the XK150 is now made of leather. "More space at last!" exclaimed many a Jaguar owner in the 1950s when they sat down in the XK150. The small additional seats in the rear meant there was more space in the front, and the doors were also slimmed down and made thinner. This meant that leisurely strolls remained comfortable even with a height of 1.90m. The Xk150 models were not built for ever. Production came to an end in 1961. Just 1893 DHCs were built at that time.
