Fist paint! Only 50.000 km!
With the introduction of the X100 series in 1996, Jaguar Cars deliberately returned to the great tradition of iconic sports cars such as the E-Type, moving away from the more restrained character of the XJS. The goal was to re-enter the sporting upper class – a claim clearly embodied by the top model XKR, equipped with a supercharged V8 engine producing over 363 hp.
This Jaguar XKR was delivered on August 22, 2001, through Jaguar Autohaus Kronberg to its first owner. Finished in the classic and timeless color combination of silver with black leather, the car perfectly reflects Jaguar’s blend of elegance and performance.
Throughout its life, the vehicle has been meticulously maintained. In 2004, the first owner transferred the car from his company into his private ownership, where it continued to be cared for accordingly. Since 2017, the XKR has been in second ownership. As part of a collection downsizing, the vehicle was sold through us to the current owner, where it became part of a larger collection and has only been driven sparingly since.
The overall condition reflects this history: a well-kept and honest example with a traceable ownership background, presenting strongly both visually and technically.
Today, the Jaguar XKR of the X100 generation is considered a modern classic, combining timeless design with powerful engineering. Examples in this configuration and with such a consistent history are becoming increasingly rare and represent an attractive opportunity for enthusiasts of British grand tourers.
