The perfect adventure vehicle!
Description
This adventurer originated in Namibia and was driven there for 30 years. However, the vehicle was rarely moved during this time. On a 300 mile trip this Defender was the winner as the best "enduring vehicle". After a longer standstill and the lack of old spare parts, the new owner (an Audi employee) got the needed parts through his employer and was able to experience new adventures with the Land Rover again. The interior is exclusively bench seats, so theoretically there would be room for up to 10 people. Four roof hatches, 2 roof bar windows, tropical roof with roof rack system and ladder transform the Defender into a safari vehicle. Furthermore, the vehicle has a selectable four-wheel drive with separate lock and gear reduction, trailer hitch and mud flaps on the rear axle. The spare wheel is mounted on the hood, the wipers of the windshield can be operated individually from the inside. Due to its unrestored condition, this Defender remains a true original with nearly 70 years of history.
