Very rare and incredibly original!
We are delighted to be able to offer this rare and incredibly original Rover Mini factory convertible for one of our customers. Painted in the rare British Racing Green metallic color, it was manufactured in 1996, the last year of production. With just 56,000 kilometers on the clock, it is rust-free, dry, and in top condition, presenting itself in a unique original state.
A total of only 1,081 units were produced between July 1993 and August 1996, most of them in Nightfire Red or Caribbean Blue. The body kit and 12-inch Revolution alloy wheels are standard equipment, as are the Recaro seats and walnut dashboard. Due to the reinforcements specific to convertibles, the convertible weighs about 50 kilograms more than the sedan. The vehicle was originally registered as a demonstration vehicle for a well-known company and was driven just under 2,000 km within 2 years. The current owner purchased the car in 1998 and has only driven it a few kilometers per year since then. In 2004, the car was completely cavity sealed by a specialized workshop. In addition, annual maintenance and oil changes were carried out.
The current owner has invested over €10,000 to retrofit the convertible to his liking. He had the entire soft top, including the tarpaulin, replaced and the seats reupholstered. Not only the seats, but also the rear seat and all side panels have been fitted with new leather. The information provided does not constitute a guaranteed characteristic but is recorded in the purchase agreement.
