Restored condition!
Description
This example - a true classic in green metallic - comes from the era in which the principle of “a lot helps a lot” was elevated to an engine concept. The built-in 6.6-liter V8 with its 330 hp is not just a number in the vehicle registration document, but an experience that you can see, hear - and feel. The power delivery is typically American: confident, rich, uncompromising.
The engine sounds as if an old marine diesel had been fed with testosterone - a tractor on steroids, or rather a ship's cutter with a hot rod heart. Each cylinder fires with a pleasant rumble, while the large V8 orchestra idles comfortably - until you tap the gas pedal and the heavens open up.
The vehicle has been extensively restored in the past. This included renewing the soft top and the carpets, which gives the interior freshness and comfort. Under the hood, the Firebird has been technically and visually upgraded: chrome-plated valve covers and engine parts, an Edelbrock carburetor with intake spider, aluminum fan manifolds and a reinforced oil pump ensure better performance and reliability. The brake booster has also been reinforced, which noticeably improves driving safety.
