restored condition!
This Triumph TR4 was originally delivered to North America for the export market and was registered in the state of Georgia until 1989. The vehicle then moved to London, where it was sold to the Netherlands after just 3 years. The extensive restoration of the Triumph then took place in 2000. A handwritten order list and various restoration invoices document the entire work process. According to an appraisal at the time, the TR4 was then in mint condition and remained in the Netherlands until 2021. The vehicle was then sold to Mr. N. in Germany. He registered himself and his Triumph in the TR Club Germany. In 2024, his sons inherited the Triumph, but on sunny days they have more fun with the motorcycle than with a British classic car. We have all the invoices for the vehicle since it was re-imported to England, various certificates, vehicle documents and old registration papers.
An affordable vehicle in a great general condition that is guaranteed not to disappoint. The persistent cliché about the poor reliability of English cars does not apply here. Compared to other cars from Great Britain, the TR4 is not very susceptible to repairs. Where little breaks, the costs are kept within reasonable limits.
