First paint! Technology restored!
This Triumph TR6 was delivered in the USA in 1974 and imported to Germany on May 27, 1987. It was first registered in Germany in Remscheid in 1988 before finding its current owner in Eschborn in 2012.
Since then, the TR6 has been lovingly cared for and kept in outstanding technical condition. The current owner spared no expense to keep the car in perfect technical condition in every respect. In 2012, with a mileage of 39,000 miles, the roadster received a new replacement engine. Later, the differential and drive axles were also replaced. At 51,800 miles, a new transmission with overdrive was also installed, accompanied by the replacement of various other technical components. The interior was also reupholstered in the finest leather.
According to the current owner, the TR6 is in absolutely original condition in terms of bodywork and paintwork. A measurement with the paint thickness gauge confirmed the original paintwork, an extremely rare finding for this model. According to the available documentation, only a small rust hole in the battery box was professionally repaired – otherwise, the body is in remarkably original condition.
Since the change of ownership in 2012, complete and comprehensive documentation of all work carried out is available. All invoices prove the conscientious care and technical monitoring. In addition, the first original vehicle registration documents are also included.
This Triumph TR6 is an honest, authentically preserved vehicle with genuine collector's quality—technically in top condition, visually in its original appearance, and with a history that is rarely found. A classic British roadster for enthusiasts who value originality and substance.
